A Meeting at Tri-Towers Leads to Love

Our Story
We met working together at the Tri-Towers dormitory desk. My wife was an education major, and I majored in Architecture.

The Proposal and Marriage
I proposed in a car the night I returned from three months of study abroad in Italy, just before my fifth year of Architecture School. We got married July 10, 1981, and were newly graduated with no jobs. She got a teaching position in Mentor that started in September, and I found an architectural position around the same time. We built a home in Mentor and raised our two daughters there.

Staying Connected to Kent State Today
Our daughter is a freshman in the school of Architecture, living in Tri-Towers. I also participate in yearly job fairs at the School of Architecture, and we are active with the KSU Lake County alumni.
