Brian Barasch
Biography
Brian Barasch is the Director of External Affairs and Communications for the College of Arts and Sciences. He brings nearly fifteen years of experience as a marketing and public relations professional, primarily serving arts, education, and youth development causes.
In his most recent role as Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications at Moishe House, Brian helped to bolster the organization's market position through targeted outreach and a crucial research initiative. At Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School, he successfully streamlined crisis communications and crafted key messaging throughout a capital campaign, resulting in increased stakeholder satisfaction. And during his tenure at the DePaul University School of Music, he played a pivotal role in modernizing CRM technologies, leading a brand repositioning campaign, and effectively managing recruitment marketing.
Brian earned a BFA from DePaul University and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago, where he was a member of the inaugural Baumhart Scholars cohort. Today Brian lives in Cleveland with his wife, Amy, and their spoiled dog Winona.
