The 5X社区 School of Communication Studies and the College of Public Health will host Internship and Early Career Q&A on April 13 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Moulton Hall Ballroom on the Kent Campus.
The event is an opportunity for communication studies and public health majors interested in pursuing internships and careers in the health field to learn more. Graduates and current students will share their experience with attendees about working and interning for the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Crystal Clinic, University Health Services, the International Institute of Akron and many other organizations in the health industry.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to solicit advice on securing internships, landing a job after graduating and achieving career goals. Staff will also be available to talk about graduate school programs and the internship process.
Light refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Nichole Egbert, communication studies graduate coordinator and professor, at negbert@kent.edu.
