Gerontology Club
This is a club for those who are interested in spending time with older adults. We focus on fostering a connection between college students and the elderly members of the community. This connection takes place through putting on activities at senior centers, having speakers, and attending occasional seminars. At the end of the year, we even put on a senior prom for one of the senior living centers.
The purpose of the Kent State Gerontology Club shall be to promote stronger relations between students and older adults; to provide learning and networking opportunities, and to assist in community services that benefit older adults.The information contained on student organization webpages was submitted by each student organization during the student organization registration process. Student organizations must follow university policies and procedures including requirements for membership, participation and general activities.
