EHHS Doctoral Alumna Receives AERA Award

Congratulations to Joanna Dickert, Ph. D., the 2022 recipient of American Educational Research Association's Advanced Studies of National Databases Special Interest Group Dissertation award.

Previously a student in the School of Foundations, Leadership and Administration, Dickert's dissertation is titled "An Examination of the Effects of Participation in High-impact Practices Using Propensity Score Analysis with Structural Equation Modeling."

The national competition included applicants who graduated between Jan. 1,  through Dec. 31, 2021, and used national or international databases in their dissertation study.

AERA is a national research society that strives to advance knowledge about education, encourage scholarly inquiry related to education, and promote the use of research to improve education and serve the public good.

Twenty-one Fulbright TEA educators participated in a day-long series of live-streamed presentations to demonstrate how they will leverage technology to solve real-world problems and enhance learning within their school or community.

Four undergraduates went on a summer excursion to southern Montana that was chock full of people, places and events, including a stop on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation

Congratulations to Professors Lisa Borgerding, Richard Ferdig, and Cheryl Potenza-Radis, all in the School of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies, for receiving the 2024 distinguished and outstanding teaching awards.
