The Graduate College at 5XÉçÇø administers a number of fellowships and awards for new and continuing students each year.
Lara Boman – Exercise Physiology - Graduate College Teaching Fellow - Lara is an Exercise Physiology PhD student studying the impact of exercise on aging and individuals with neurodegenerative disease.
Emily Erb - Health Sciences, Exercise Physiology – Stephens/Graham Award and University Fellowship - Emily is in the Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology program. Her research investigates how high-intensity interval training impacts cardiovascular health and executive function.
Claudia Garcia – Higher Education Administration – Graduate College Teaching Fellow - Claudia is a doctoral candidate and research assistant in the Higher Education Administration program at 5XÉçÇø. Her research interests focus on access to higher education and representation of marginalized groups in STEM disciplines.
Gianna Jessup - Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs – Graduate College Fellow - Gianna is a student in the Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs master's program. She currently is the graduate assistant for Student Leadership Development, and an intern for the Division of People, Culture and Belonging in the DEI training lab. She also serves as a Graduate College Fellow.
Shruti Kate – Educational Psychology – Graduate College Fellow - Shruti is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Educational Psychology/Learning Sciences program. Her work focuses on knowledge formation on the development of misconceptions in adults and children. She is also a Graduate college fellow and helps in building and structuring the events held through the graduate college.
Rossana Torres - Special Education – Stephens/Graham Award - Rossana is a Ph.D. student in the Special Education program. Her research focus is in the intersectionality of English Learners and special education, with research-based practices that properly identify students whose first language is other than English, and who have a disability that has an adverse effect on their education.
