Post-undergraduate

A post-undergraduate student is one who has already earned a bachelor's degree and would like to take additional undergraduate courses.

A post-undergraduate student may be degree-seeking (intending to earn another undergraduate degree from 5X社区 at Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center) or non-degree seeking (not intending to earn another undergraduate degree).

Post-Undergraduate Degree-Seeking or Non-degree Seeking Student Checklist

  • Complete an 
  • Submit official transcripts from every college or university you attended after high school (or after receiving your GED), even if you feel credit will not be transferable. 

Transcripts

Official Transcripts
Transcripts are considered official only if they arrive in a sealed letterhead envelope from a high school, college, or university or are sent directly to Kent State electronically, such as through Parchment or another third-party service. Transcripts issued directly to the student will be accepted only if the envelope is unopened. Once the envelope seal has been broken by someone other than a university employee, the transcript becomes unofficial. Transcripts issued electronically to the student are considered unofficial.

Electronic Transcripts
Electronic transcripts can be sent through the state system, which is only available for Ohio schools. Parchment and/or eScrip-Safe transcripts can be emailed to GeaugaAdmissions@kent.edu.

**Failure to report previously attended colleges or universities is considered falsification and may result in denial of admission or dismissal from the University.

Financial Aid

Although not a requirement, we encourage students to complete a (FASFA) online. This is used to consider your eligibility for all federal financial aid programs (grants and loans). Please refer to our Financial Aid section for more information.
