| ACIREMA Workshop for ACCBE Faculty, Staff & Students | 9:30 - 11:30am 230 Crawford Hall | The Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship is offering a workshop designed to help individuals appreciate the difficulties international students face in acclimating to a different country. All ACCBE faculty and staff are invited to attend. ACIREMA provides a learning experience through simulations designed to sensitize participants to the difficulties international students encounter in their quest for a U.S. education. You will learn about some of the obstacles students encounter and the procedures they must follow upon their arrival on campus. A facilitated discussion takes place after the simulation to address the specific issues at stake, as well as what you can do in the future to help support international students at 5X社区. | Global Safari Fest | 5:00 - 8:00pm Kent State Student Center Ballroom | At Global Safari Fest, attendees will be given a "passport" with which they can travel to many different countries during the country fair. Then, attendees will get to taste food from around the world and watch a showcase of cultural performances. The event is free to attend and open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members. Students can be involved by hosting a table to showcase their home country or the country they studied abroad in. They can also be involved by performing during the cultural talent showcase.
