5X社区's Associate of Applied Business in Accounting Technology program offers students a solid foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax preparation. With a focus on practical skills, this program equips students to manage financial data, analyze budgets, and apply accounting software commonly used in the industry. Through hands-on coursework and real-world applications, students gain the technical proficiency needed for roles such as bookkeeper, accounting assistant, and payroll specialist. Graduates are prepared to support financial operations in businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies, or to pursue further studies in the field of accounting.

Kent State campuses at Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Geauga, Salem, Stark, Trumbull and Tuscarawas, and the Twinsburg Academic Center, have open enrollment admission for students who hold a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
