Together with the College of Applied & Technical Studies (CATS) and the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE), Kent State's Regional Campuses offer Talent Ready Scholarships up to $2,000. These scholarships, available through June 30, 2025, or when funds run out, will help local workers to enroll in specialized, industry-recognized certificate programs designed to open doors for career advancement.

5XÉçÇø at Ashtabula’s financial aid office will host a pair of FAFSA Nights to aid students and families work their way through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the college financial aid process.

The events are open to new or existing students who live in the Ashtabula area – not just Kent State students! Kent State Ashtabula advisors will help walk through the process.

The sessions will be held on the following dates in Susan J. Stocker Hall (3300 Lake Road West, Ashtabula):

Students and agencies throughout northeastern Ohio are the beneficiaries of 5XÉçÇø's College of Applied and Technical Studies' new Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, currently offered in a hybrid model through the Ashtabula, Salem and Tuscarawas Campuses.
