Journalism Major
Sydney Brown is a passionate storyteller at Kent State from Avon, Ohio. As a current third-year Journalism student, Sydney enjoys connecting with community members. She is the Broadcast Managing Editor for Kent Stater TV – the independent, student-run TV station on campus. Sydney also is a KSTV Anchor and Reporter to gain real experience as a collegiate.
In addition to journalism, Sydney is a proud member of The Delta Zeta Sorority on campus and a member of a leadership cohort called Flash Fellows!
Beyond Kent State, Sydney interned for Fox 8's New Day Cleveland show and was later hired as a Freelance Producer for Summer 2024.
