Behind the Scenes Fashion Show

Behind the Scenes 2025 will showcase all that the School of Fashion at 5X社区 has to offer prospective students and their families. 

Get an exclusive Behind the Scenes look at the 2025 KSU Fashion Show by KSU senior fashion design students. Explore campus to have lunch on your own on campus or downtown Kent with the favorite recommendations by current students and faculty. Come back for a Behind the Scenes Mixer in which students can gain hands on experiences in the multiple labs with make and takes, tour the museum, hear Q&A from designers you saw in the show, attend parent informational sessions, engage with student groups through a variety of activities, win scholarships, AND win free SWAG to welcome you to the KSU School of Fashion Family!

We believe you should be able to showcase your talent, which is why our fashion design and merchandising majors have the chance to apply their skills and innovation in real-world settings. This authentic experience has earned the school a consistent ranking among the best fashion programs in the world.

Discover Fashion Visit Day

Our on-campus Discover Fashion Visit Days are free and open to all current high school and transfer students.

Discover the prestige of our world-class programs. You will attend a group informational session to learn more about program curriculum and requirements, and engage in a Q&A with academic advisors and a student panel. The visit includes a tour of our building, Rockwell Hall and facilities! Tours take place from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Behind the Scenes is an exclusive look at the Annual 5X社区 School of Fashion Annual Fashion Show. High school students /groups will learn more about Fashion Design and Merchandising and the incredible opportunities offered at the School of Fashion. The next Behind the Scenes will be in the spring of 2025. Check back for more information.

The Kent State School of Fashion is welcoming student groups and individuals to join us in understanding more about the fashion industry and its careers, while encouraging collaborative learning and utilization of state-of-the-art resources and facilities. Fashion Futures is an immersive experience that will give students a behind the scenes look at how students prepare for a career in fashion and why we are ranked as the number two public fashion program in the United States.

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS

Please register by selecting a Fashion Futures session from the list below and filling out a registration form. All sessions take place in Rockwell Hall on the 5X社区 Campus.
