With a grant from the Herbert W. Hoover Foundation, 5X社区 at Stark students have set out to find what exactly is contaminating the Nimishillen Creek watershed. This project, called 鈥淢aking the Invisible Visible: Water Quality in Stark County,鈥 is led by Kent鈥
5X社区 presents a lecture by Fr茅d茅ric Brenner, a contemporary French photographer documenting the lives of the Jewish community, on Monday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Kiva. The lecture is free and open to the public.

5X社区鈥檚 School of Journalism and Mass Communication is using social media to build relationships with potential students overseas with the help of a social media strategy.
Color L. Kang, recent graduate from the school, created a social media presence for the鈥
Twenty-four students from Kent State's College of Communication and Information traveled to London May 10-27 for a life-changing study abroad experience where they engaged with different cultures to grow both personally and professionally.
After learning about Kent State鈥檚 campus in Florence shortly after joining Kent State鈥檚 School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) in 2010, Assistant Professor Kiersten F. Latham, Ph.D., knew she wanted to create a course abroad.
