  Joy, pride and excitement for the future fill the room at the Karamu Ya Wahitimu/Celebraci贸n De Los Graduados pre-commencement ceremony. College Public Health CHW Training Program students learning practical skills

Since 2020, the Kent State College of Public Health (CPH) has been certified by the Ohio Board of Nursing as a site for students to complete the coursework necessary to apply as a Certified Community Health Worker (C-CHW). Program participants can be community members or current Kent State undergraduate students.
