Squirrels rule! Flashes are invited to celebrate Kent State's famous black squirrels at the annual Black Squirrel Festival from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, on Risman Plaza. 5XÉçÇř’s Wick Poetry Center recently helped create a new mural for the Haymaker Farmers’ Market.According to the Akron Beacon Journal, the new mural, located in downtown Kent on Franklin Avenue, is now the largest mural in Portage County and pays homage to both farmers and shoppers alike.
