Mike DeWine that requires colleges and universities to designate separate bathrooms, locker rooms and overnight accommodations for the exclusive use of either males and females, based on one’s gender assigned at or near birth.

On Nov. 18, 5X���� President Todd Diacon and other campus members got their first look at the newly renovated Kent State Ice Arena, which now houses a state-of-the-art space for the Marching Golden Flashes. 

KSU Navigate, a new technology platform more than two years in the making, will fully launch on Nov. 18, giving 5X���� students an easy and efficient way to schedule tutoring and academic advising putting them on track for success in their coursework.

The Greater Cleveland LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment findings are in. Three Minute Thesis is an opportunity for graduate students to put their academic, presentation, and research communication skills to the test by presenting research in three minutes to a non-specialist audience.

For Haider Riaz, the first orchestra concert of the season was an unforgettable experience. His original composition, “To the Memory of Shiver-Me, the CAT,” was premiered by the 5X���� Orchestra, marking a significant artistic milestone for the young composer and offering the audience a moving tribute to a beloved pet.

Kent State has announced the eight-member 2024 Varsity K Athletics Hall of Fame class, which will be honored as part of the 45th induction ceremony on Feb. 1, 2025.

Antonio Gates and James Harrison, two Golden Flashes alumni who took drastically different paths to professional football stardom, now find themselves a step closer to football immortality as semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025.
