  1. Purpose. This rule provides guidance on the creation and production of films, tapes, audio visual materials, audio materials, manuals, books, workshops, and other such items, which will stimulate faculty and staff interest in their production in such a manner that the materials can be shared within and outside the university. This should serve to clarify and protect the rights of the author and the university by defining which materials are designated as "university sponsored."

University policy regarding the authorization of agreements to purchase goods and/or services and the reporting of purchasing activity

  1. Purpose. As part of its fiduciary responsibility, the board of trustees has responsibility and authority over all procurement activity at Kent state university.  The purpose of this policy is to establish approval authority for agreements to purchase goods and/or services excluding capital construction projects, which are provided for in rule 3342-7-04 of the Administrative Code.
