Biography
I have worked as an RN in the intensive care units for over 20 years. I currently am a lecturer in the College of Nursing at 5X社区, where I hold the rank of Senior Lecturer Non-Tenure Track. I have held this appointment for the past 16 years.
My area of instruction include teaching critical care nursing and nursing informatics. In addition, I co-coordinate the nursing simulation laboratory for the college. My role as a coordinator in the simulation laboratory has been to develop, design, and program nursing simulation activities for both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. The simulation environment utilizes state-of-the-art computerized manikins, virtual simulation products, and standardized patient actors to prepare students for the practice environment.
