5X����’s Brain Health Research Institute recently welcomed 70 fourth-grade students from the LeBron James Family Foundation I Promise network in Akron, Ohio, for a day of activities to spark their interest in science and technology.

Senderoff, who took over the program in April 2011, has transformed Kent State basketball through sustained success and community engagement. After the 2024-2025 campaign, he has totaled 288 wins, and has guided the program to nine 20-win seasons, the most by any coach in school history.

On May 2-4, 2025, 5X���� will hold its annual commemoration to honor the memory of May 4, 1970 – a tragic day when the Ohio National Guard opened fire on Kent State students during an anti-war protest on campus, killing four students and wounding nine others. May 4, 1970, marked a pivotal moment in American history.

Meet Chase Brown, a senior communication studies major, for whom performing has always been a part of his life. From street magic to competing in American Ninja Warrior and now comedy and improv, Brown is no stranger to putting on a good show.
