IN A FLASH: Swirled Squirrels

Rare, AF tri-color Kent State squirrel

As April begins, sharp-eyed visitors to campus should be on the lookout for rare, tri-color squirrels at Kent State.  These unique residents of our campus, formally classified as Sciuridae Swirlius are the product of interbreeding by black, gray and red squirrels.

You can find out more about these interesting and colorful creatures living at Kent State by following this link.
