Wishing You a Happy and Successful 2025
After a fantastic 2024 which brought us to our new home in Crawford Hall, we look forward to continued success at the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship in 2025.
The past year was one of firsts as we taught the first classes, held the first events and welcomed the first group of students to the new building. In September, we celebrated the Grand Opening of Crawford Hall with more than 700 guests including university leadership, faculty, students, donors, alumni and dignitaries. Thanks to more than 250 building donors, we celebrated the most philanthropic support of any building at 5XÉçÇø. In December, the Kent State Board of Trustees within Crawford Hall, bringing the total number of named spaces in the building to 55.
We enter 2025 fueled by the momentum of the past year and look forward to many more milestones, including the first to take place in Crawford Hall in February, the ASPIRE Entrepreneurial Workshop Series and the Spring Pitch competition later this semester. I am also pleased to announce that Asli Arikan, Ph.D., has been named Chair of the Department of Management effective January 1.
If you have not yet had the opportunity to visit Crawford Hall, I hope you will join us for an event soon to see this transformative building in person.
