Signs of spring are popping up all over Kent State's campuses. The eponymous residents of Daffodil Hill on the May 4 National Historic Landmark site were first planted with the idea that they would be in full bloom at the beginning of May each year. Students explored new methods of storytelling in during this collaboration between the School of Emerging Media and Technology, Design Innovation and the Reinberger Library Center, creating an augmented reality experience based around children's picturebooks.

A team of students in EMAT"s Interdisciplinary Projects, the senior capstone course, worked on a digital custom cake visualizer for LaLa Custom Cakes in Lakewood. In Interdisciplinary Projects, students work with a community or campus client to solve a technology challenge.
