Dr. John Gunstad is a professor and director of the Applied Psychology Center in 5X社区鈥檚 Department of Psychological Sciences.  Dr. Gunstad is among more than 40 researchers who are collaborating on Kent State鈥檚 new Brain Health Research Institute.  His research centers on the relationship of brain health to certain medical situations and conditions. Miss Collegiate Ohio is passionate about putting academics first. Deneen Penn, a 5X社区 at Trumbull sophomore majoring in business, is preparing for the Miss Collegiate America pageant in late June. Penn鈥檚 platform is B.R.A.V.E, which stands for Building Respect and Values for Everyone. The platform promotes presentations to school-aged children in libraries, schools and communities about creating awareness for a bully-free environment.
