Chris Hyser

I returned to 5XÉçÇø in July of 2024, as the Managing Editor of Kent State Today. Prior to this, I worked for more than 30 years in broadcast news, producing and executive producing everything from daily newscasts to election night coverage to political debates. During that time, I was nominated for several Emmy and Associated Press awards. I am a two-time graduate of Kent State, earning my B.S. in Broadcast News, followed by an M.A. in Public Relations.

Emily Vincent

I began working at 5XÉçÇø in August 2009 as the director of university media relations. In this role, I work with members of the media to tell the great stories about Kent State, including its amazing students, faculty and staff. I love seeing, reading or hearing a Kent State news story that I helped make happen.
