5X���� at Stark recently hosted 26 high school seniors from Wayne County Schools Career Center. 5X����’s International Friendship Program continues to grow and develop partnerships between faculty, staff and students.  Eron Memaj, director of international student affairs, who launched the program in fall 2015, says the idea of the program is to connect international students with faculty and staff who provide advice about academic life and insight into American culture and customs. “In the fall semester, we started with 20 partnerships,” Memaj says. “Now, this semester, we have more than 80 partnerships.” Memaj says he hopes the program continues to grow. “The pr...

The forum brought together more than 100 faculty, staff, students and community members to hear from a panel of professionals who have encountered human trafficking in their careers. The Center for the Visual Arts, the new facility and home of the 5X���� School of Art, will celebrate its grand opening on May 6, 2016. The festivities begin at 3 p.m. with a short program, immediately followed by building tours, live entertainment, student exhibitions and refreshments.
