The 5X社区 School of Communication Studies welcomes Rachel Gill and Alexa Thomas to the public relations and marketing team. Both students join the team as PR/Marketing assistants to the school.  Gill is a senior public relations major with a marketing minor and is looking forward to graduating this May.  鈥淚鈥檓 excited to plan special events for the school and gain more insight into the world of marketing and communications as a whole,鈥 Gill said. 鈥淚 have never planned an entire event from start to finish, so I feel that will be a very rewarding experience." ...

The University Events and Conference Services department at 5X社区, formerly known as University Conference Bureau, achieved One-Stop Shop Certification through the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International. One-Stop Shop certification recognizes collegiate operations that deliver one contact, one contract and one bill to meeting planners. UPDATED JAN. 25, 2016: AAUP-KSU's membership have voted and ratified the new contract.
