5X���� football player Jordan Italiano, a senior safety from Canfield, Ohio, has been selected by the National Football Foundation as a 2015 National Scholar-Athlete and finalist for the William V. StoryCorps, the pioneering oral history project, has launched “The Great Thanksgiving Listen” – its most ambitious initiative to date. WKSU and 5X���� are promoting the project in hopes of encouraging high school and college students throughout Northeast Ohio to participate. The 5X���� College of Public Health has received accreditation from the Board of Councilors of the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). 5X���� at Stark will host the annual Turkey Trot, an Adult 5K and a Kids’ ¼ Mile Fun Run, on Saturday, Nov. 21. The events will be held on Kent State Stark’s beautiful, 200-acre campus, located at 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. The Kids’ Fun Run begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration takes place on the day of the event, beginning at 7:30 a.m. The fee is $5 per person and may be paid on the day of the event.
