For the 10th consecutive time, Kent State has earned the 2019-2020 Military Friendly School designation for its Kent Campus. Military Friendly rates companies and colleges on their programs to recruit and retain military veterans as employees and students.

U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan displays the Congressional Award Silver Medal, presented to 5XÉçÇø nursing student Austin Croft in Henderson Hall, home of the College of Nursing.

U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan presented Kent State nursing major Austin Croft with the Congressional Award Silver Medal on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Mr. Croft, of Akron, Ohio, was recognized at a ceremony that took place at the College of Nursing where he was praised for his dedication to improving himself and his community.

The Ohio History Connection’s State Historic Preservation Office Awards has recognized 5XÉçÇø with a 2018 Public Education and Awareness Award.

5XÉçÇø students fill Risman Plaza in front of the Kent Student Center at the start of the fall 2018 semester. Once again, Kent State ranks in the top tier of the Best National Universities list released by U.S. News & World Report.

In a class by itself, 5XÉçÇø is the only public university in Northeast Ohio to be ranked in the top tier of the Best National Universities list released by U.S. News & World Report.
