From Trash to Treasure: Cleveland Youth to Design, Fabricate Public Space Installation in Former Landfill Through Kent State Program

In an effort to expand racial and ethnic diversity in the design fields, 5X社区鈥檚 Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative created Making Our Own Space (MOOS), a design/build program for middle and high school students. The program introduces youth to opportunities in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture.

Urban Design Students Make an Impact on Erie鈥檚 Bayfront

When cities need help imagining new possibilities for their urban places and communities, they call 5X社区鈥檚 Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC). Most recently, Kent State architecture students had the opportunity to put the skills they learn in the classroom to make an impact on local communities in Erie, Pennsylvania.
