Summit Professor of Learning Technologies Rick Ferdig serves as coordinator for the Northeast Ohio chapter of the nonprofit Farmers & Hunters Feeding the Hungry, born out of one man’s mission to “transform a God-given resource of deer and livestock into food for those in need.”

As part of 5X����’s annual Veterans Day Commemoration, cadets from the university’s ROTC programs joined staff from University Facilities Management and other volunteers on the site of the May 4, 1970, tragedy to plant daffodil bulbs.

The goal of the Golden I vigil was to acknowledge that the Israeli people who were brutally murdered were real people with real lives, said Rose Martyn, vice president of Golden I.

5X���� paid formal tribute to all those who have served in the U.S. armed forces at its annual Veterans Day Commemoration. 

Voting is under way this Election Day, with students heading to the Beverly Warren Recreation Center among other voting locations to cast their ballots on issues like reproductive health and the legalization of cannabis, as well as various school board and levy decisions. 

Kent State's commitment to mental health is on display in a walk-through installation in the Kent Student Center.
