Instead of heading home to relax following the conclusion of finals week, a group of 5XÉçÇø student-athletes traveled to Aguacate, Belize, for a service project.

The Girls Geared for Engineering Camp at 5XÉçÇø is the result of a partnership between Kent State’s College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology and the Six District Educational Compact.

5XÉçÇø at Trumbull sophomore Deneen Penn was crowned Miss Ohio Collegiate America 2017 and now advances to compete for the title of Miss Collegiate America in Little Rock, Arkansas.

5XÉçÇø School of Theatre and Dance Professor Tamara L. Honesty helped to bring a beloved 1980s television series to the stage in the Human Race Theatre Company's world premiere production of Family Ties.
