Laxman Panthi was born and raised in Nepal, and earned his undergraduate degree in India. When choosing to pursue his Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.), however, he chose to do so in the United States, at Kent State, which he calls 鈥渢he greatest school in the USA.鈥 The impactful generosity of others is one of the reasons Laxman鈥檚 attendance at Kent State is possible.

Nicholas Giardina, 鈥06, a third-generation Kent State alumnus, worked his way through college. Now, he gives back to support those whose circumstances he identifies with most, helping them to stand out and impact the world.
Kent State alumni, friends, faculty and staff were encouraged to put their money where their hearts are by supporting support the university college, campus or program of their choice on Giving Tuesday, December 1st, 2015. They more than answered this call to action, contributing a record-breaking $252,000.
