The Valentine’s Day-themed expo made it easy for students to discover, explore and fall in love with the many study abroad options available through Kent State.

In early 2021, during the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, masses of employees across the country began resigning their jobs in record numbers, marking what is known as the “.” For students in Kent State's Hospitality and Event Management program, there’s a big opportunity to capitalize on an industry that is in the middle of a large shift in management. 

Olivia Meyer, junior Honors College fashion merchandising student, is designing her own success at Kent State and abroad. “I think what I'm most excited for is the unknown,” she muses.

The Washington Program in National Issues is more than your average internship program. For 50 years, a cohort of roughly 20 Kent State juniors and seniors heads to Washington, D.C., to participate in a variety of internships.
