Is Career Academy content relevant to my students?

Career Exploration and Development recognizes that when it comes to career education, there is much information that is specific to industries and roles.

Career Academy content was designed to be accessible and usable by all students in all industries and areas and does not include industry specific content. Industry specific content may be added by the instructor to supplement the existing content.

For additional questions about industry specific content within Career Academy, please reach out to Julie Paskiet at jnovotn9@kent.edu.

How is the Career Academy accessible for students?

Career Exploration and Development has made an effort to create a course that meets the needs of our diverse student population. The course was build to be accessible and offer a variety of modalities to meet different learning needs. Documents are inserted into the course for use, a variety of modalities, including written, visual, and auditory, are included and language was chosen that most students can relate to.
