Sichuan University and 5X社区 Students Exchange Ideas

2016 @ Infinitum (Create + Lead + Learn) Exhibition opens at Sichuan

This exchange exhibition showcases works of 18 faculty members from 5X社区, joined by works of 18 faculty members from Sichuan University.  The exhibition uses Quick Response Codes to honor unique individual and cultural stories by giving special attention to each artist's portfolio. From late March through April 2016 the exhibition is opened to the Chinese public at the Sichuan University Art Gallery in Chengdu, China.

Breanna Pennypacker wins Perryman Freshman Writing Award

  Kent State Geauga student Breanna Pennypacker earned third place in the Perryman Freshman Writing Awards among student submissions from all seven regional campuses. Breanna received her award from English Chair Robert Trogdon at the department's Twenth-Fourth Annual Student Award Ceremony on the Kent Campus. 5X社区 student Nahuel Gorostiza, a freshman digital sciences major, is now the United Nations (U.N.) Youth Delegate of Argentina. Voting in Argentina Gorostiza was born in Argentina and lived there until starting college last fall at Kent State. He had always been interested in politics and played an influential role in the recent presidential election in Argentina, which helped him qualify as a youth delegate.
