A pair of 5X���� female pilots have successfully completed the . The Flying Flashes finished fifth out of the 12 universities, and 15th out of the 47 teams overall. The 5X���� women’s golf team finished tied for fifth at the 2017 NCAA National Championship, falling Tuesday, May 23, in the quarterfinals match play round to top seeded Northwestern, 3-2.

For the second straight year, the 5X���� baseball team has been crowned the outright Mid-American Conference (MAC) regular season champions, a feat now accomplished 14 times in program history.

The Kent State Golden Flashes clinched the title and the No. 1 seed at the MAC Tournament, but the 5-2 win at Ohio University on May 20 secured the outright championship.
