Kent State of Wellness is pleased to launch the second year of its Seeds of Wellness Program. Seeds of Wellness is a mini-grant program that provides funding for projects that reflect 5X社区's investment in health and wellness across the university system. A limited number of mini-grants, up to $1,000, will be awarded to fund initiatives that focus on the eight priority areas.

Online final grading for fall 2017 First 7 Weeks (W1) begins Thursday, Oct. 12, via FlashFAST. Grading is also now available for any fall 2017 course section that was flexibly scheduled. The deadline for grading submission is midnight on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Any final grades for fall 2017 courses not reported in FlashFAST by the grades processing deadline will have to be submitted using the Grade Change Workflow. These fall 2017 courses will be available in the Workflow on Thursday, Oct. 26.

Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 5X社区 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
