Don'Marie Reid gives and receives support in the CommUNITY Lab.

Since Don’Marie Reid of Akron became a Golden Flash, she has experienced immense support from the Kent State community, but the CommUNITY Lab is her home away from home where she and many other students receive unconditional support.

More than 250 leaders from 5XÉçÇø and the city of Kent came together Tuesday for the 60th annual Bowman Breakfast, an event aimed at celebrating the strong relationship between the city and the university. 

An August storm damaged the May 4 Memorial.

Repairs on the May 4 Memorial are estimated to take five to six months following approval to proceed with the project, according to Joseph Graham, university architect.
