Emad Khazraee, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, co-authored a paper titled "A Networked Reaction to the 2015 Ankara Attack in the Turkish Twittersphere" with colleagues from the Ohio State University School of Communication. The paper was presented by Aysenur Dal, an OSU doctoral student, at the Political Networks Conference (POLNET) on June 24, 2016, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Shawn Rohlin, Ph.D., associate professor of economics at 5X社区's College of Business Administration, and colleague William Horrace, Ph.D., of Syracuse University, have been named W.E.B. Du Bois Scholars and will receive a research grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, the Office of Justice Programs and the National Institute of Justice to deepen their exploration of alleged racial bias in the Syracuse, New York Police Department.

This privilege of confidentiality is held by the client and is intended to encourage full and frank communication between attorneys and their clients.
The Kent Campus may experience power interruptions due to turbine testing on Friday, Nov. 11.
Kent State generates a large portion of the power used on the Kent Campus. The university will be testing the turbines to check on the reliability and operation of control and distribution systems. This exercise tests the turbines鈥 ability to power the Kent Campus without being connected to the Ohio Edison power grid.

5X社区鈥檚 Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative took 18 graduate students to Akron for an intensive three-day design workshop or charrette. The students are getting their master鈥檚 in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture.
Students from the occupational therapy assistant program at 5X社区 at East Liverpool arrived at the stables in Berlin Center on a warm fall afternoon. They were greeted by Dawn Speece, who quickly led five horses from a pasture into the barn and to their individual stalls.
Wasting no time, she instructed the Kent State students to water and feed the horses, then to begin grooming them.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 5X社区 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
