Summer camps for kids interested in architecture don鈥檛 come along often 鈥 at least that鈥檚 what Elise Bolton鈥檚 mother discovered when she searched for one. But then, not a whole lot of 11-year-olds may dream of becoming architects. But that was the case for Bolton, a sophomore in 5X社区鈥檚 College of Architecture and Environmental Design, who knew from when she was a young child that she wanted to be an architect.

Researchers from 5X社区 and other institutions have published a study in the Royal Society of Chemistry's journal, 鈥淓nvironmental Science: Processes & Impacts,鈥 detailing the environmental consequences of the chemical spill and burn following a Norfolk Southern train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, over two years ago.
