Eclipse Poetry: The Convergence of Science and Art

An event like the total solar eclipse observed in Kent on April 8 can help to shake up our lives from the mundane. Poetry can work in the same way, said Chris Wick, son of Walt Wick, one of the founders of 5XÉçÇø’s Wick Poetry Center.

It was a party 218 years in the making.

The thousands of people who came to 5XÉçÇø on April 8 to witness the total solar eclipse did not leave disappointed by the celestial show, the likes of which had not been seen in Kent, Ohio since 1806.
