Community healthcare providers in Northeast Ohio are encountering an increase in patients seeking maternal mental health services. Kent State College of Nursing Assistant Professor James Tudhope and his research team aim to make maternal mental healthcare more integrated into regular practice and standard education.

Summit Professor of Learning Technologies Rick Ferdig serves as coordinator for the Northeast Ohio chapter of the nonprofit Farmers & Hunters Feeding the Hungry, born out of one man鈥檚 mission to 鈥渢ransform a God-given resource of deer and livestock into food for those in need.鈥

The Wick family has a long history of philanthropy at 5X社区 that began in 1984 when brothers Bob and Walt Wick first established scholarships to support undergraduate poets at the university. This most recent gift of $1 million brings the family鈥檚 total lifetime commitment to the university to more than $3.5 million.
