Community Impact

Andrew Snyder, outreach program director and adjunct faculty member of 5X社区鈥檚 College of Public Health, is Principal Investigator for the Greater Cleveland LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment.

A groundbreaking interorganizational initiative led by 5X社区's College of Public Health aims to identify and address the most pressing needs of the LGBTQ+ community in Greater Cleveland.

Mashika Gallo

鈥淗ealthcare is a human right,鈥 graduate student Mashika Gallo said, explaining why she pursued a degree in the healthcare design master鈥檚 program at Kent State. The results of this philosophy for Gallo include a clear focus and research that has won numerous scholarships.

 Students take part in the Making Our Own Space program (MOOS), which introduces youth to opportunities in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture.

5X社区鈥檚 Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative鈥檚 design/build program for middle and high school students is in the spotlight for its new effort to expand racial and ethnic diversity in the design fields.
