Kent State's College of Education, Health and Human Services strives to put more teachers in the classroom.

Two 5X社区 professors believe the best way to get more teachers in the classroom is to keep more education majors in college.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted recently issued a joint proclamation recognizing the impact that employee-owned companies have on Ohio鈥檚 economy as well as the work of the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC) based at 5X社区, which requested the proclamation. The OEOC has served as a nonprofit outreach center providing support, resources and assistance to businesses since 1987.
